Anyone else having this problem since watching "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt"?

Tell me, even if you are right and the character is a rip off of a real person, how does that make it a "racial character"??

Because both the TV character and the real life man make somewhat racist statements. The TV guy called him a 'weird old white dude's house' while the real guy said something sadder- that a white girl wouldn't run into a poor black man's arms unless she was in trouble.

If the person in the TV show is a parody of the real man, does that make the real man in your opinion a "racial character"?

The real man has some stereotypical appearances but overall, no. He does say some racist things in the interview which are just more sad than anything else (the thing about them running into his arms)

You really are not convincing me that you might not have some latent racism working here...

Ahh...LATENT racism...the poison spear of the SJW. Only they can see it, only they can attack it!

Also, I don't have a "problem understanding the difference between someone commenting on a stereotypical portrayal and the person who wrote and directed and produced that portrayal"

Why would I have a hard time telling YOU apart from the famous producer of a popular TV show? That statement doesn't even make sense.

You seem to be blaming me for the portrayal of the man on the intro for the show that she wrote, directed and produced. I am merely a viewer who pointed out it seemed a little bit much....and that the original man should be compensated.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have a huge problem with her making a racist joke or racist character. But to base it on someone who lives in a ghetto and gave an honest interview to the world when he was excited (that's why his eyes are bugging out....HE FOUND 4 WOMEN IN A FREAKIN' RAPE DUNGEON and is EXCITED)
