Yeah. I was super ADHD and went out of my way to annoy other kids and was also super attention seeking. Was always doing some crazy shit in class which I then would get ostracized or made fun of for. One time I taped a banana under another kid's desk. Other stuff which I am actually still to ashamed about and traumatized over to state. I kind of learned my lesson by the end of 4th grade, and went into 5th grade with resolve to act normal and make friends. Then kids who were in my class from the year before told the other kids about my shenanigans on the first day. Every day when I went into class in 5th grade the entire class would boo at me. It honestly traumatized me and I ended up not making any friends all through middle school, which fucked me up. I simultaneously had a weird respect from people because I was the best skateboarder in school and I was good looking, girls actually liked me. I still had zero friends. By the time I was in high school I was a totally emotionally and socially shut down person, thankfully I fell into a friend group softmore year. I think I probably would have become a serial killer otherwise. I'm actually not sure I've ever totally recovered from the social damage this caused me - while I'm normal now and people like me enough I'm not a particularly confident or outgoing person and I have social anxiety.
