Anyone frustrated with the race on their birth certificate? please share!

Wanna hear something crazier?

This is quite a complicated thing but it's normal in my country, at least. I will not mention this country because it might cause misunderstanding/ giving wrong idea. We are living peacefully.

In my country, if you for example converted to this one religion (no hate, just saying how this works) then you are 'able to change your race' to this one race. It's beneficial as the race is the majority race and has many privileges. My grandparents converted to that religion in the past (not for privileges obviously). At that time they didn't ask any consent so automatically my grandparents' race were 'changed'. (on paper)

It's a problem (sometimes, but I'm kinda immune now lol) because how I look & how I identify as is often invalidated when they read what's in the paper.

Even my same ethnic people don't see me as my (real) race because what's on my paper is different.

((I hope this will not be interpreted in negative way. It's just how the system works and very normal here. But these days people can keep their 'real' race & modernised system now))
