Dune has managed to gross $5.1M from Thursday night previews

Oh that's good to know. I've made a general attempt at breaking down the math if people can follow some kind of complicated arithmetic:

You know they say that all movies are created equal, but you look at Dune and you look at No Time To Die and you can see that statement is not true. See, normally if you go one on one with another movie, you got a 50/50 chance of winning. But Dune's a genetic freak and Dune's not normal! So you got a 25%, AT BEST, at beat Dune. And then you add Venom: Let There Be Carnage to the mix? Your chances of winning drastic go down. See the 3 way at the box office, you got a 33 1/3 chance of winning, but I, I got a 66 and 2/3 chance of winning, because Venom: Let There Be Carnage KNOWS it can't beat me and it's not even gonna try!

So No Time To Die, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus my 25% chance and you got an 8 1/3 chance of winning at the box office. But then you take Dune's 75% chance of winning, if we was to go one on one, and then add 66 2/3 per cents, I got 141 2/3 chance of winning at the box office. See, No Time To Die, the numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for you at Sacrifice the box office.

tl;dr: 55 million * 141.66% = 77.91 million

Dune will have an opening weekend of 77.91 million, wow big numbers for the pandemic box office and streaming at home!
