Has anyone here changed their mind about eating meat after their trip?

its natural for us to eat meat Depending on your definition of natural... This isn't necessarily true. Most likely, but not definitely. Impossible to prove/disprove. Also just because something's ''natural'' doesn't make it automatically morally right or the best way to do things. The only problem I have are the conditions the animals are in. The fact that they dont get to live life. Global warming is also caused by methane emissions produced by cows and also livestock in general. This is a far more serious contributor to global warming than emissions from cars etc. It needs to be stopped asap or we will have serious problems. We will probably have serious problems anyway but lets at least try to save ourselves. Not knowingly displace 10% of the world and cause mass famine's etc. But - meat is part of the cycle. Everything is as it should be. I used to eat meat a lot and I still do to a very small extent. Historically it made sense to kill and eat animals due to lack of alternative food sources especially protein rich non animal food. You needed to eat meat to survive. It is very different now. We don't need to kill animals to get protein into our diet or to live out a healthy existence. So why should we ? People's main ignorant excuse (myself included) is that it tastes nice. But that's a really terrible reason to kill something.
