Thats because we have been disconnected from spirit, and led astray by the greedy that have remained in power for so long. But nothing will change until our constant state of consuming ends. Its cliche and I know you've heard it before, but people are working jobs they hate to buy shit they don't need, and many dont even realize it. The earth is the victim when it comes to keeping many of these industries alive, but we just bat a blind eye. People are more focused on upcoming TV series and Films than they are on Nature and its Beauty. People will spend half their life's money on material shit they won't use 10 years down to road, but we can't come together and do things for the benefit of humanity ? Well until we learn to do that, we will always be held down and oppressed by the corporate machine we continue to feed.
