I apologize for not completing my thoughts yesterday. I was ill. And how dare I prevent from drinking or not drinking. My bad.

The first conference would address the elephant in all conversation (no, not Alabama), ND. They could easily join 4 of the P5 conference today if they wanted. Only the SEC would seem really weird. They could come in as partial members with BYU with the Big XII. They could rotate divisions with BYU and only play 5 or 6 a year and remain largely independent otherwise with BYU remaining in the WCC and ND rejoining the BE. They could grab 3 other schools to join the Pac 12 (the only instance where instance where the progressive would accept a religious school). They could be adding the B1G in a heartbeat with virtual anyone. Or they could come full in to the ACC with 1 other.

I think a better solution would be adding the 6 other religious FBS schools and 1 Christian FCS to form a league that they can control. They could play a 5-7 game conference schedule and still have at least 5 ooc games.

I like the Rose as a name. For some reason, I really Jesus as a rose. I'm an ex Protestant atheists who celebrates Lent for my wife so correct me if I'm off here.

Here's the lineup:

ND

Baylor

TCU

SMU

BYU

Tulsa (yeah that one surprised me)

Jerry Falwell University, I mean Liberty

All but Liberty and SMU are good in football; only TCU is horrible in BB.

14 game basketball seasons would allow ND tons of scheduling options as well. You would finally reunite the triangle of absolute disgust. All the Christians hate the Mormons. Protestants, at least Baptists and Methodist, still thinks Catholics are charlatans. And everybody dislikes the Televangelist University. Good tv. Very competitive.

They can also do the BE thing where FOI requests are nearly impossible to enforce since they are all private. Maybe fellowship will lead to better relationships as well.
