Lmao. My parents / sister apparently play a game where they see how long it takes for an announcer to mention “aeronautical engineer,” “4.0 gpa,” or “straight A’s” when discussing Josh Dobbs.. it’s never been more than like 3 minutes.

Fun fact: my first ever season of peewee tackle football, Josh Dobbs was the QB. We were the “gold eagles” and easily won the championship that season. I think we were like 11-12 at the time. I’ve got a DVD somewhere with highlights from the season, and it’s funny being in a team picture with lil’ J. Dobbs. Went to all the same schools growing up, and he was always super lowkey and humble (and smart as fuck obviously). Weirdly enough, I still have a bit of a relationship with his dad, despite us only ever playing on the same team that first season. He’s messaged me on LinkedIn after every single one of my job promotions, wishing me and my family well. Such a lovely family!
