Heck, fans wanted Harbaugh ran because he was 0-5 against Ohio State, forgetting the 7 years of hell under RichRod and Brady Hoke.
Ohio State fans got spoiled (rightfully so) by dominating Michigan. Just think, a your average OSU fan under 25 has no memory of Cooper and Tressell trading wins with Lloyd Carr is a distant memory. In their lifetime they had never lost back-to-back years to Michigan.
I’m 38 years old. The first real college football memories I have are Remy Hamilton in South Bend and Tim Biakabatuka rushing for 313 yards against them in 1995. I just got used to beating OSU. Then the Vest showed up and up until last year I saw one win since I graduated high school. I’m scarred by OSU and will never feel confident in that game again.
So, I don’t see “11-1 and a Rose Bowl or backing into the CFP” cutting it again next year for Columbus
