Certainly not in the media portrayal of a loner but as someone who doesn't mind long silences and the quiet pleasure of my own company yep! I read and write; love fishing and the outdoors with some music in the background. Happy to tinker in the workshop mending or restoring things as there's always something to do. Having said that though! When I feel I need company I'll search it out; I believe being a middle child makes you self sufficient in many ways. You're always the meat in the sandwich so you tend to avoid any conflicts and confrontations. There is a drawback though in that you can develop a certain level of anxiety because you have no one to bounce your thoughts off of.
