Why We Are NOT the Monsters in MHW

And yet there's the reality of it.

A creature is minding it's own business when suddenly a green sparkle drifts in from a small passage way. A sparkle that announces the arrival of a un-natural pack of grim reapers. Four small creatures come and start breaking it's bones, severing it's limbs, hacking apart it's body while it's still alive. Forcing it to limp in terror through it's land while these merciless creatures continue to hound it. Some of them smell like the dead flesh of other animals, some smell like the dead flesh of it's own kind. These reapers gleefully adorn themselves in costumes that mock the natural patterns of the beasts being hunted.

Finally, it's over. The monster falls dead. Then like carrion beetles the four reapers close in and begin to carve out it's flesh. A chorus of knives going SKRRT SKRRT SKRRT as they glide through slowly cooling flesh. Or perhaps the creature wakes up restrained while "researchers" calmly dissect it. Perhaps it's still alive? Perhaps the researchers look to see just how much of it's body can be carved away until it finally dies from shock or bloodloss?

Honestly if I had to pick something that Monster Hunter reminds me of it's HBO's Westworld. A fantasy island for tourists where it's okay to violently murder the natives without social or moral backlash.
