Why are Turks More Nationalistic than Europeans? What do Turks Think of Nonnationalistic People?

Based on what? Which Europe? Have you ever been to Greece or Serbia? It is not about geography it is about culture.

Naučio sam čak ovaj jezik! Anyway, I don't understand this part. I marked this as "culture" and am asking about this cultural difference - and you are... Telling me it's not about geography?

Texas has the unique legal ability to either fracture into 5 states or claim independence as part of its unification treaty with the US, so it's a bad example. But speaking to your actual point, you can't imagine that someone would ever support a secessionist minority? I guess that's the very gulf in understanding I'm trying to bridge - because I don't understand why you would even care about a secessionist minority. (I also know plenty of Spaniards in the South who said they would have no problem with Catalonia succeeding if it won the election.) I certainly know many Canadians who want Quebec to leave Canada too. So I'd like to understand your point of view more deeply. :)
