Hey everyone I have a question regarding Metamask and Ledger integration. I've looked around but can't seem to get a perfect answer. Here's my situation:
I have a metamask, to which I have created several separate accounts. We'll say account 1 - 5. I connected 2 those accounts to a ledger to protect them (accounts 4-5). I store my funds in these and don't use these for transactions. Accounts 1-3 are used only for transactions and aren't connected to my ledger. I have seed phrases stored offline for both metamask and ledger.
My question is this: if i need to restore my accounts am i correct in thinking that I would need to
This is what I assumed but i noticed when i open metamask accounts connected to my ledger, and check the recovery phrase under settings, I still see the metamask seed phrase. But it is connected to the ledger as it requires me to use my ledger to sign and approve all transactions.
To follow up on this, if i were to now connect account 1 to my ledger, would all subsidiary accounts automatically connect to ledger (Ie accounts 1-3) or would it simply be account 1, and account 2 and 3 would remain recoverable by my metamask seed phrase?
