I've been to salons and barbershops on the Eastside. I tried multiple locations and gave them a third and fourth chance but I landed on a great location by chance. You don't have to know someone, be a big shot, or have a story to tell to your barber. Downtown Vintage Barbershop on Fremont will treat you well. You always get the hot towel treatment even with a haircut so that for me, is a plus even if the haircut is more expensive. Plus my barber is always on time with his appointments and I've seen the other barbers are as well. They're all young but they're the best. It took me nearly 2 years from hopping from shop to shop and even salons. Honestly, I've never felt more at home at a barbershop.
