They are wrong, and they extend this into basically meaning that no other slaves were actually "slaves" as it was so much worse, lasted so much longer, was racially motivated, etc.

Which again, isn't actually true.

It's not nuances. The point is that there are people who take it that/this far.

But the fact that you're so ready to boil it down "believes US was the only real slavery" tells me you're not really interested in the nuanced discussion

You've got it so incredibly backwards. It sucks that people like you even get involved in conversations. People are explaining a situation to you, and you're legit unwilling to understand the situations, so much so that you'd attack the people explaining it to you, instead of learning about the topic at hand.
