They're hybrid actually, they are socialist about quite a few policies and capitalist about quite a few. They subsidize workers and support them, that is inherently anti-capitalist.

If you're not allowed to let the free market decide who is worth working for with no government interference it is some level of socialist policy. Theirs is absolutely in the territory of socialism in many regards.

I've always thought this would be the end goal because there are people who would be genuinely dissatisfied if they were not able to pursue higher mountains, but we should also put constraints on the impact that ambition can put on others, and try to channel it positively.
