Sorry, you think I'm on the right? I've been considering economic and political theories of Karl Marx I'm so far left.

I think you're wrong in characterising this opinion piece as propaganda. Also, I've been baffled this entire time as to how the headline "The Russia Probe Isn't About Trump" is funny, unless you think it's ridiculous. Which, I have to say, it is not.

Trump may be a walking caricature of a YouTube comment section and a white supremacist who's too stupid to even implement his fascistic ideals, but this Russia thing is bigger than him. A hostile power that has been stealing territory and waging propaganda warfare in several countries has successfully installed their choice of candidate as president of the United States. The US is my country's most important ally, and as much as I think it's deeply fucked up and sincerely wish countries like mine would stop trying to emulate everything it does, I would prefer if an autocratic power-craving nation with a high powered propaganda ray weren't there on its heels.

And I'm not saying the Trump thing isn't of deadly importance. What I am saying is that it's not more important than stabilizing the US government.
