Been a videographer for years but have a passion for the music scene

It's not either/or.

People who plays instruments also do other things. You don't have to drop your other interests to learn how to play the keyboard. In fact you probably shouldn't.

Learning an instrument takes years of regular practice, and usually some form of instruction like from a teacher or a friend who knows how to play, or a book, or video tutorials, or something. Playing blindly every now and then probably won't get you very far, as you've discovered.

I'm not sure exactly what your question is, but my advice would be keep making videos, and also dedicate half an hour a day to practicing the keyboard. Get private piano lessons if you can afford it, or look up some YouTube videos on beginning piano lessons.
