I am older and I remember where all this militant 'childfree' shit started: an old Usenet newsgroup called alt.support.childfree. I remember when I first started reading it back in the early 1990s, thinking I had found kindred spirits, as I am not a Dad and won't be. Fucking hell, was I ever mistaken! Those people were the most shocking bunch of psychopaths I'd ever overheard. I noped out of the group when some fairly trivial comment I'd made sparked off a flame war with one of them. I think it was for the best. They might have ended up being a bad influence on my thinking and attitudes to the world.

Nasty bunch of people, really. Good job they don't plan to care for kids!
