a dollar here and there feel real good for some people. I have no idea how much other stores work, but at my pizza shop i work as a cook. and i can confidently say the cooks & managers work significantly harder than the hardest working driver but they still deserve the tips (car risks and wear and tear, gas etc.)

our wages: 1. managers ~14.5-16.5 until they recently got mad and got raises this year now 18-19 2. cooks 13.2 3. drivers 13.2+tips = 18-22

you shouldnt have to feel obligated to tip us. and its my bosses fault hes a shit head. but its the reality and me n my coworkers are getting shafted.

and we arent just grabbing a digiorno sticking it in the oven, or grabbing the display slice of pizza and doing the bare minimum. I make the dough, i prepare the ingredients, i hand roll the pizza to shape, i make your food to order. all while doing a million other things like timing all your the food to come out at the same time so its all hot, answering phones, taking orders, making sure the oven doesn’t pile up etc. and i love my drivers but usually they just grab the food when their name is called and take it to a location. they help definitely help as much as they can but the insiders do significantly more. so consider dropping a dollar to my fellow pizza shop workers, even if its the cashier or the person taking the phone order, because sometimes both of those are me plus im also the one that cooked it too.
