I might ruin your day, and if I do, I'm sorry for that. But I used to be extremely phobic. I'm a lot better now, I'm still not very good at all. I couldn't bear the drill. I had to have a filling a few months ago. The drilling and stuff was not great, but I only freaked a little bit, so you know, win. Then for the first time in my fucking goddamn life I saw the thing they try to fit around your tooth so they can fill it, like I guess if the side goes a little. Its like, this small metal ring thing maybe kind of like this!/Prepare/V3-Ring/2_Two-V3-Rings.jpg) except it was a solid ring. I only noticed because it wouldn't fucking fit between my teeth because of an older filling. Fuck.
