Bill Gates calls Taiwan's handling of coronavirus 'exemplary'

this is an interesting example of Taiwanese thinking. It spends all this money and effort writing articles about how awesome it's doing, almost as if it was reminding the world it exists.

Notice how every government other than the US and Taiwan have never, ever said how well they were doing. They refrain from commentary. Instead they simply report their numbers and medical findings.

Based on just results, South Korea managed the crisis almost completely. China not only managed the crisis but was the first to discover the disease. Canada had the disease just as early as South Korea and the US but still has far fewer cases. None of them felt the need to brag, they just report the numbers and science.
