Black people in SF, does it ever get better?

Do people sincerely believe that a city that routinely elects black leaders, prioritizes and focuses on equity and equality, and regularly supports social justice movements with huge marches and protests is racist?

There are a galaxy of reasons why people may ignore you, and none of them need to necessarily have anything to do with race. This shouldn’t be the default assumption.

This is quite literally the freest city on earth. You can dress and look any way you want. Hell you can even practically do anything you want. I really doubt people in this city care about your race, orientation, or any other affiliation.

I hope you stick around and find your groove.
