Hey! Congrats to your partner! I just started a UCSF medical residency this past July 1. Although SF has a lot of wonderful options for neighborhoods, what my partner and I were hoping for seemed far too expensive. Fortunately, UCSF has housing for residents/fellows! I live in one of these and would be happy to talk more in a DM! I would recommend completing the application process sooner than later so you are higher prioritized, plus there is no application fee or down payment (since you have a UCSF ID number), so there is nothing to lose! My partner and I live together without roommates.
