In the boring middle now - anyone else feel like life is just passing them by?

f you decide to keep pushing forward, you'll have more freedom and flexibility later on, and you don't have to wait until your 60s to start enjoying life. With hard work, dedication, and smart financial decisions, you can achieve the life you've always dreamed of, and freedom, while still relatively young. I retired at 47 (last year). My career began as a graduate with a global company. I had the opportunity to live and work in incredible places like the UK, Spain, South Africa, the US, Sweden, and more. I could switch roles and jobs every few years, keeping things fresh and exciting. There were definitely times when I was overworked and tired, but I always loved what I did. I had a good salary and invested what I couldn't spend. And I traveled a lot, visited 80+ countries. Life wasn't always a blast, but I made the decision to just power through it and keep working hard. And now, all those years of hard work and smart investing have paid off. When I retired last year I had around 8-9 mln invested in various assets, paying dividends of 4-500K per year. I have not yet developed habits where I am able to spend it all, so much is reinvested. I never compromised on physical exercise. My Garmin tells me my physical age is more like mid-20s (which I think is really cool). In June, I'm heading to Italy for as long as I'm happy there, and I still have a few expert advisory roles that keep my brain sharp and engaged. I guess the question you need to figure out is if you need the change now, or if you are happy to push forward and harvest later?
