She was a monster, but I stuck around anyway.

I had to break up with her by putting all of the blame on myself, because any time I'd try to address the issues with her, she'd shut down and put it back on me. The only way I could get her to accept the breakup was by validating everything she didn't like about me and using those as the reasons, which was a lot.

It hurts really bad because I wanted to have more of the good days with her. I know she wanted them too. I wanted the relationship; but she couldn't empathize.

Now all I can do is hope time passes a little faster, so I can stop missing what I wish could have been, but never existed.
