BSRF to Norway in the winter?

I feel like I’m one of the few who hated being in Norway. The warmest day I was there was 40 degrees F. The average temperature when we were In the arctic was -50F. We traveled a lot and didn’t have much down time. But when we did there’s was fucking nothing to do. At one point I think we had about three hours of daylight per day for two months straight. I’d be going to the chow hall for lunch looking at a sunrise and leaving looking at a sunset. There was cool shit. It’s a beautiful place and I learned to ski. But thatS kinda it. Trust me when I tell you that you will never have a moment alone. The gym in vaernes is tiny and always packed so good luck there. Also alcohol is expensive (18 dollar White Russian) and there’s a two drink limit off base. If you are in Vaernes make friends with the Iraqi pizza dude. He’s got a badass story to tell and is extremely nice. Gave us free pizza and booze a lot. Also I never had bad frost bite but almost two years later if I handle anything cold my hands go completely white and I lose feeling for about an hour or so. As such I hate getting anything of the freezer now. I’m sorry if this was incoherent as fuck I’m pretty wasted.
