I got sent to a different bn than my original for both of my deployments to Iraq in 07 and in 08. The unit I went to returned and some people went to their original units but a lot of us stayed and we were already slated to return 10 months later. It was skate city in between when we weren’t training. Dismissed from morning pt, formation 30 min later and then guitar hero 3 and cod until lunch, rinse and repeat until 4:00pm on the dot captain released the company. It was weird cause all the brass and sncos left but the replacements must have decided to be generally cool with us since we all just came back and they didn’t. Wizard sleeves all around and no fucks given. Before this and after it was the utter nonsense you expect but that sweet 10 months was so great.
