You can start in facilities maintenance which is janitorial work for minimum wage. That might lead into more fulfilling positions.

I have already said in several places that that is likely where I expect to begin. Just so you understand, I was already aware of everything you said about HR and algorithms and the economy and how poor my chances are due to circumstances N through P bypassing Q onward to E. I could fill a warehouse with all the knowledge I have collected that I could use to discourage myself--trust me. But that is not what I am here for. Thank you for all the time you spent typing that post, but you did not enlighten me with any of it, and you also do not discourage me from attempting to further educate myself.
