Went for the SUSS ICT interview as a media student (Poly) as well.

I didn’t really feel like I had a disadvantage despite my unreleased background. Although the interview topic was related to technology, the prior research I have conducted gave me enough experience and preparation to answer the question.

Also, the question was rather generic. It asked for a real life application of the research concept, so it really boiled down to the research each applicant have done. After all, SUSS did provide documents to allow applicants to understand the topic prior.

This could be an outliner experience. I’m not sure how other applications and interviews are conducted, so this is only my personal opinion.

P.Sz I mean- honestly, being fair is very hard. Even between A level students, some might have taken computing and have prior experience in coding/analytics while some do not. It’s really hard to make it fair to all players...
