Gender isn't a fucking spectrum and I'm tired of people stating it like a fact.

I disagree. I do think gender is a spectrum and people land all over that spectrum; to say otherwise is a bit ignorant. I mean, there are so many people out there, is it that hard to imagine that people's sexuality and personality can vary?

On pronouns, I'll respect them to the best of my ability, but I'll need patience because I'll probably mess it up a lot of times along the way... I think intentionally disrespecting someone is just plain mean. I don't think it should be law or anything, but it's just common courtesy.

I know I have my own bias and all that, but here's my problem with this topic: I just think that labels are kinda unnecessary in general, at least to some degree. I get it, people want labels because they want to fit in with a group or have the ability to connect with like minded people, and they are helpful as a descriptor at times as well... But I just think it's a bit segregating to create these distinctions across people. I guess I'd rather focus on how people are similar rather than how they are different.

Regardless, I think you should always treat others with respect even if they don't reciprocate.
