Can anyone give advice about raising a kid partly in the US and partly in Germany?

I said that originally as well, but German husband had a childhood like this (his parents worked for the German government at different German embassies around the world) and he says he loves it. He keeps in touch with all the friends he made to this day and they visit us. Could also depend on the child.

I am wondering, did you experience that first hand? Would like to hear more.

Husbands friend was also a German diplomat's kid and said the same.
