Can men and woman both get away with this in the work place?

"it's rare she pushes further" What? Woman push just as much as men, they just go about it in a more subtle manner.

I've had a girl who had a crush on me in college and I rejected her in what I thought was a friendly but firm manner. Months after that she would still constantly comment on my social media, be in my general vicinity and come up with the most random bs to strike up a conversation.

I feel like guys often get stereotyped in being dense when it comes to understanding more covert signals of interest but I can assure you that's not always the case.

Dealing with it after you've made it clear you've no intention to date them and yet they still don't stop pushing is just as annoying, be it subtle or not.
