That is rare?!! Holy shit some people are really nasty. My mom always made me clean the kitchen everytime I cooked something, and wiping the walls was done daily(Despite both of my parents working full time and the kids having school and stuff, whoever had some extra time, did the wiping). Nothing too time consuming, just a quick wipe, so that the grease doesn't get accumulated.

It's sad that people in this thread had experiences with some unhygienic bastards and that's why they're generalizing the entire South Asian population as being unhygienic with smelly houses. If they are unhygienic, that's what's the deposits are for! No? Fucking use it.
