I don't know what anyone else is telling you...but you can't retake the ASVAB, lol.

The only way you can retake the ASVAB is if you did not get a passing score, so under 30. In that case you can take it as many times as you need to in order to pass.

But, once you get a passing score, so over a 30, you CAN NOT take the ASVAB again; at least for I believe 5 years.

Whoever told you that is wrong, and anyone in this thread who hasn't mentioned that didn't read your question thoroughly.

If your official passing ASVAB score is a 49, that's your score for the next 5 years...there is no possible way to take it again. Ask your recruiter if you're unsure, or do a quick google search.
