Canada could see a flood of ‘Dreamers’ if U.S. cuts DACA

These are children you're talking about.

Children???

Those protected under Daca are known as “Dreamers” and 787,580 have been granted approval. To apply they must have been younger than 31 on 15 June 2012,

They must have arrived in the US before turning 16 and lived there continuously since June 2007.

Who are the dreamers?

  • Arrived in the USA before turning 16 yo, no matter when they have arrived.

  • Younger than 31 yo in june 2012

  • Have lived continuously in the USA since 2007.

Based on the data:

The YOUNGEST possible Dreamer (assuming he arrived 1 day after birth) can be 10 yo. Which means he arrived in the USA in 2007 and has lived in the USA since then.

The OLDEST possible Dreamer (assuming 31 yo in 2012), is 36 years old. Which means he arrived one day after birth in the USA in 1981.

Since it is very doubtful that newborns would show up by themselves at the border, we must infer that MOST were at least 10 yo or older when they arrived.

If we assume that the youngest dreamer arrived at the border at 10 years old and has lived in the USA since 2007, then the YOUNGEST Dreamer has to be 20 years old !!!!!

It also means that the oldest dreamer would have arrived no earlier than 1991...

This means that EVERY DREAMER is between 20 yo and 36 yo... NO CHILDREN HERE!!!
