I can't be the only one feeling this way.

This game is definitely an ass kicker. There are those who say they found it easy, but it was not for me. I've completed Dark Souls 2 many times, never quite finished Dark Souls on PC, played and finished Demon's Souls multiple times only just recently, and Bloodborne definitely had me raging harder than I can remember in the other games. I did a lot more sprinting past enemies in this game than I did in any others. The basic enemies and mobs in this crowd are definitely tough. All I do is sprint, find shortcuts, and get to bosses most of the time.

With all that said, I think we should be celebrating the fact that From is one their 4th Souls type game and they aren't getting any easier, as everyone worried about.

Also you will stop feeling quite so strongly as you do as you continue to adapt to the game. I have a problem every time I play one of these games, I never relax or have confidence in myself until I beat it the first time. I am always waiting for that spot I will get to in the game where I can't get past, and end up hating myself. Once I beat it, and know that there is nothing I can't get past in the game, my level of enjoyment goes way up. NG+ isn't scaring me as much as my first trip through NG, just because I know I can do it now.

I always slack on upgrading equipment in these games too. I know that the upgrade materials are somewhat limited and when the game is new there isn't a whole lot of info of which weapons or gear are the best to dump your materials into, so I end up running around with really weak gear. In BB it helped immensely to level up the weapon, not just the character. Apparently this is somewhat common knowledge for all souls games so I don't mean to insult you if you know it already. But this game got a lot easier when I upgraded things.

I would barely roll and parry in previous souls games, so I really had a lot of habits to break and new ones to learn before BB stopped feeling so difficult. By the time I got to the final boss I parried my way to a victory.
