So if you are able to keep yourself awake now, Id maybe ask if your doctor can try giving you 20 mg XR (extended release) itll give you 10 mg intially then 4-6 hours later itll release the other 10 mg.

My doctor asked when setting up my medication if id need to be productive later in the day (basically when the medicine wears off in 4-6 hours) I said yes, and she prescribed me XR.

If you do need 20 mg out the gate which honestly doesn't sound too high if you are a well working fast metabolism farmer, (Im 5'3", 112 lbs and on 10 mg XR) then he or she might give you a boster dose of 5-10mg to take at 1pm

My only thing I wish I had kept in mind is that eventually your body will adjust and you will have to up the dose of your medication so its always better to start as low as possible and work up from there. Your doctor knows best though! Thats just my experience with everything.
