How do I get off hourly SEO consulting? I have 3 clients I've been with for years. I mainly do technical SEO, web administration (development background) and site migrations. Most site migration work is from companies acquiring one another, some of it is the same domain to a new CMS. I find hourly work just a slog, and although I'm budgeted for 80 hours a month spread across 3 clients I never hit 80 hours. It's usually around 40 because I don't want to do mindless things that potentially won't help the client.

I fall back on only wanting to do technical SEO, which is a problem. I could identify more KW opportunities for them, do more KW research, create topic clusters, pillar pages and an overall content plan. The problem is I just hate that work and sometimes feel like I have imposter syndrome when doing it.
