I feel like they lifted the mask restrictions for the vaccinated in hope it would be incentive for those on the fence to get it but I doubt it convinced anyone, it just made it easier for antivaxxers to lie and go around maskless. It's not like Starbucks was checking for proof at the door. And now they're doing this, hoping for the same thing, parents will send their kids with masks to reward themselves with socialization but it makes no sense because anyone limiting their social contact right now already is wearing a mask. Nothing good is going to be gained from this, it's going to do more harm and it makes the CDC look foolish, giving the opposition even more ammo to claim they don't know what they're doing because that's what it looks like.
