This is horrible. If you cant improve a champ leave him as he is. Shen is my secondary main after Jax and I was hoping that the changes would make him much more mobile and fun. Dont make him a full support while changing his Toplanine abilities from save to bad! I agree that he needs some changes. But either in the way of an extra weapon or mobility instead of his w right now while decreasin his tankyness. The only thing those changes do is to take away his q-poke + the healing it gave. Champs like Nasus, Vlad, Warwick and Yorick will outsustain him even more and in lane the w dodge wont improve anything since Shen had no problem against Autoattackers anyway.

He loses his save poke and sustain he got from his q and wont be a good pick for 1 vs 2 lanes anymore. Right now Shen loses against Champs like Vlad, Nasus, Yorick, Warwick. All those Champs outsustain Shen. With his heal deleted those matchups will be even harder.
His w is simple. If you time it right you decrease incoming damage and while you are under the shield effect your attacks heal more. The new w will only work against Autoattacks. First off there shouldnt be any other champs with a dodge than Jax, since it is a very hard to balance ability. Seconds in lane Shen got worse since most toplaners dont rely on autoattacks anyway.
Since is laning is so bad I wouldnt even play him tanky anymore, just build triforce and botrk and turn him into a Global Jax.
Its just sad that all the great recomendation of how to change him got ignored and this boring immobile nonfun
Without the q, Laning against ranged champs and 1 vs 2 will be even harder. Even if it is a point and click ability it is very fun to last hit minions and enemies with it. What Shen needed is either more mobility or an extra weapon, Jax should be the only champ with a dodge ability. This great idea got completely ignored.
