I want to cheer you up about the DLo trade

Let's break this down a bit.
Guaranteed likely top 4 teams 1 Warriors 2 Spurs 3 Rockets 4 Clippers - Depends on offseason

Unless something happens group

5 Jazz unless Hayward moves

6 OKC Westbrooks unless Westbrook gets hurt.

Dog Fight group. Any one of these teams could end up in the 7 or 8 seed. Players may not develop, chemistry issues, trades, free agency, and coaching will determine who gets in. For the most part these teams have marginal differences. Two really good players that keeps the fan base frisky and a bunch of decent to good role players. PG and Lopez qualify. They also all have major holes. It's mostly on the Defensive end and youth for the Nuggets, Timberwolves, and Lakers. Trailblazers are in the are in the Atlanta Hawks mediocre zone where all their stars are second or third best on a contender guys that will never get out of the first round. Pelicans have no backcourt and major role issues trying to fit Davis and Cousins together.

7 Trailblazers

8 Timberwolves

9 Pelicans

10 Lakers with PG and Lopez.

11 Nuggets

These teams are dropping off this year or have been off for awhile.

12 Grizzlies - old front court, injuries and bad contracts due them in this year.

13 Mavericks - Best players are good compliments that wouldn't fetch a lottery pick. Inadvertent tank similar to post Dwight Lakers.

Suns - 1 player who will be really good in three years, 1 good player who is injured as much as he plays, and a bunch of young guys that are slowly being forgotten outside of Phoenix.

14 Kings - Thomas Tank mode

Lakers are in the mix for an 8 seed!
