He’s been doing things differently this past couple years, focusing heavy on collaboration with other visual artists and developing his directing/filmmaking abilities. On top of other career ventures like putting on the Black Star Line fest. Personally never thought this would be the typical album roll out. This feels like a special and unique era for Chance. Everything seems super personal, intentional and important to him, and for me it’s been enjoyable to watch and learn from. That’s just me though. I can understand anyone being annoyed he isn’t going about all of it in a more traditional way, or that he’s taking a lot longer to do everything. It is what it is I guess
