Christian nationalism taking over churches — and driving away anyone who disagrees

Here are 10 that made the news, not to mention the low profile ones in HS sports taking away medals and wins from biological girls. It is happening, but not on a grand scale- to deny this fact is to deny reality.

Okay. A whole whopping 10 times a trans woman won a sports event. Wowie.

Now find me all the examples where a trans women entered a competition and lost to a cis woman. Because it's not as if being trans guarantees a win for these women, and acting like it is, which is what you're doing, is to deny reality. Unless this is a consistent thing whenever everytine a trans woman enters a sports even they sweep the competition and there are thousands of example, you're just cherry picking the cases that fit your narrative and ignoring the rest of the cases or the fact that this is such a small percentage that it's nearly negligible.

As far as Covid is concerned, all I was talking about was school closures. They were an abysmal failure. My kids were locked out of school for 16 months in NYC. This demonstrably hurt many children and the effects will probably be long lasting.

The school closures worked perfectly, they stopped lots of kids from spreading Covid, which was the whole goal. There may be some social effects, but what's worse? Knowing you spread a virus, passed it to your grandma and killed her with it, or a single school year being weird because of a global pandemic that made literally every single person on the planet have a stressful year and a half?

Do those kids have it worse than their parents who were jobless struggling to pay their bills because no republican would vote for more stimulus for anyone but corporations? No, I really don't think they do, but the left didn't cause that, the right did by refusing to fully participate in lockdowns and refusing to provide direct assistance when it was needed.

I'm no Republican however I can see why so many of them hate the progressives and vice versa. Both groups have a stringent dogma that must be followed or you'll be pushed out.

I don't care what you pretend to be, you're pantamiming republican talking points, either because you believe them and are lying, or be ause you're bad at playing devils advocate, either way you are still refusing to explain how one would compromise with the red team on something like abortion?

You say the left is uncompromising because we don't compromise with the right. I'm saying compromise with them isn't possible.

If you think it is, then go ahead, how do we compromise with "no abortions, no exceptions, fuck you" from the red team?
