I major in Biological Engineering and would really love a gig at a biotech firm. Fair warning though, I'm older than most undergrads because I took some time off after shit went south with my family in terms of finance and personal stuff. My grades went into the shitter and I'm only now returning to campus. I've got some business and programming experience.

But. I have the goods to deliver. Mr. meisterschaf. Mr. Meisterschaf would you ever ever ever consider sending in a personal recommendation in to your mom some time next semester? We don't have to meet up now. Maybe some time at the end of the semester after I've sorted through some employment and returning student stuff...

I'd be immensely indebted to you. As in, I would sacrifice both of my kidneys and 3/4 of my liver for you.

Also, while we're in the area of shameless groveling, my brother is a ChemE here and he's smarter than me --on paper at least. Do you think your amazing mother (I mean she has to be amazing to birth a selfless Cornellian such as yourself ;) haha) could throw an internship my brother's way? He's a Rawlings scholar and has done research competitions in Intel and Siemens.
