It has been some time since people have been a greater source of natural capital accumulation than corporate greed leading to financial capital at the cost of human productivity and health. When the land goes to the cash, we lose the opportunity to use it. Fuck Monsanto, at the very core of my being, but I will absolutely use every trick in the book to take back control of my commons, including eating their shit that I find useful, especially if it's the cheapest food nearby. I didn't go from homeless to employed comanaging hundreds of miles of roads, a fully paid off house, shop truck, dump trailer and excavator in six years by passing up resources when I was offered them. Life dies. The most beautiful thing about it is doing something worthwhile and hoping others see it and copy the behaviour so the good stuff lives on while shots like Monsanto starve, but it ain't happening. That's why I run a full out front yarden in the middle of frackin' oil fields and operate heavy equipment proficiently all while preaching where I can about how to build natural capital to rednecks who couldn't give a shit less.
