The past 2-3 days, I’ve also been having connection issues.

Usually, just restarting everything works to get back into the game, but there have been obvious problems still.

I have had more random kicks from matches in the last three days than my entire time playing Fortnite until then combined (been playing since December). This is often prefaced by a lockout of all controls except the camera which continues to work normally until the kick.

I’ve also been kicked from the schematic menu once, the mission loot collection screen twice, and the weekly/event store once. The last time I suspect the issue was on my end because it seemed I lost connection to my Wi-Fi router briefly. But the other times my internet connection has been solid.

Occasionally, I won’t even get kicked. I’ll just get a message about “Not the llama you’re looking for”, or some other silly error that seems server-related.

Have witnessed an unusual spike of other players getting kicked from matches I’m playing in as well, despite our connection seeming fine until the kick. This has been less prevalent than my own kicks, but still more than normal.

I’ve had no problems logging in to the website or launcher, so I suspect this isn’t an issue with their account services but rather the game servers themselves.

https://status.epicgames.com has remained clean the past few days, but I suspect they are experiencing some problems that just haven’t been reported by players or flagged internally yet. My internet connection is a-okay for everything else, and always has been great on Fortnite. This only started on Thursday night/Friday morning, perhaps a bit sooner because I didn’t play Wednesday. I also suspect it has something to do with the 4.2 patch, but that is more speculation than deduction.
