Concert Security of Reddit, what was the worst music genre crowd?

I once worked Lollapallooza.

The indie crowd was super nice. I didn't have ear-buds because I'd never been to a music festival before and some people hooked me up. A day later, I relayed a request to "smoke a bowl" with the lead singer from Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. It was an even trade... When I returned to the barrier and said "He'll be right out." the entire section started chanting my name. It was pretty dope for my first time working a festival.

The headliner rock crowd was about what was expected... some people were trying to mosh to fucking Soundgarden though so we had to put a stop to it. But on the whole the crowd was fine.

The "techno/rave" stage where the DJ's and shit were the scariest crowd IMO. It was like a bunch of rats swarming around in filth. We were told to spray the crowd down with water because they were packed in so tight that people were passing out. It was gross. People would just open their mouths like fish out of water just pointing to their faces like it was a normal human thing to be hand-fed water.

And some dude-bro was picking up women and throwing them maybe 20 rows of people back. And because it was so hot, people assumed they were trying to crowd-surf to the front so they can get out from the crush of people. Eventually, we had to "subdue" the guy, who luckily for society was met with police and 3 different women who wished to file police reports.

Oh, and when Empire of the Sun was performing, 2 people stormed the stage.
