Genocide recognition is very much regionalized and restricted to civilization. Theres a reason why African nations don't recognize things like the Holodomor.

The vast majority of scholars and politicians believe the pressure for recognition and reparation for the genocide is coming from inside Turkey and not outside. Orhan Pamuk, Taner Akcam, Hrant Dink, Kurdish organizations are all signs of this occurring. 9% recognition by Turks according to opinion polls also indicates this.

If Turkey really didn't care about what the world thought about the genocide, then it wouldnt be dedicating massive amounts of money to preventing countries like the US and Germany from recognizing the genocide. The Turkish government would also not be fucking paying people to put denialist website urls over New York fucking city.
