How does one "look like they have HIV"? HIV does not discriminate against age, sex, race, etc. there is no way for someone to "look" like they have HIV. This is only spreading extremely negative stigmas about the disease itself.

You cannot contract HIV through a pimple. Or from kissing with a sore in your throat. Saliva does not spread HIV. Your risk of contracting HIV is extremely small. First, she would have to have HIV- only a small percentage of the population does. Second, your risk of contracting HIV from a woman is roughly 0.04% during sex (not 0.38% as stated in another comment here)- this number decreases by 80% if you add a condom to the equation.

I recommend educating yourself on HIV- the risks associated with the disease, and how it is and is not contracted. It will put your mind at ease, and hopefully help you be more sensitive to people who are actually living with the disease.
